On February 4, 2026, Alex Marquez (BK8 Gresini Racing MotoGP), the 2025 Malaysian Grand Prix winner, concluded the Sepang Test atop the standings, narrowly holding off Marco Bezzecchi (Aprilia Racing) after a late push. Earlier on February 3, Joan Mir (Honda HRC Castrol) led the timesheets on Day 2 of the Sepang Test, becoming the fastest Honda rider ever at the venue by surpassing test rider Aleix Espargaro’s top lap from the previous week's Shakedown. Also on February 3, the qualifying day of the Yesilay SNX of Turkiye unfolded on the heavily snow-covered Rize-Handüzü Snowcross Track, where Pihlaja and W. Jonsson topped their respective classes in SNX and WSNX.
