The United States Auto Club (USAC), a privately owned company founded in 1956, is an American auto racing sanctioning body. Employing approximately 50 people, USAC's headquarters are located in the United States. Historically, USAC sanctioned major racing events including the United States National Championship (1956-1979) and the Indianapolis 500 (1956-1997). As of 2023, USAC continues to sanction various racing series, such as the Silver Crown Series, National Sprint Car Series, National Midget Series, Ignite Ethanol Fuel Series, 25 Midget Series, and Traxxas TORC Series.
