Vidio, also known as PT Vidio Dot Com, is a privately owned company headquartered in Indonesia. It is a subsidiary of Surya Citra Media. Founded in 2014, the company employs approximately 840 individuals, functioning as a tier 1 media tech buyer, and specializes in media and TV services. The company operates an Indonesian over-the-top subscription video-on-demand streaming service. Its services include free-to-air and pay-per-view live broadcasts, movies and series, as well as Vidio original programs. Originally owned by Kreatif Media Karya, Vidio was later acquired by Surya Citra Media, a subsidiary of Emtek. In 2022, Vidio was listed as the largest video-on-demand service provider in Indonesia, surpassing Netflix, Disney+ Hotstar, and Prime Video.
Vidio is set to exclusively broadcast Proliga 2026 Matchweek 3 from January 22 to 25, with teams vying to qualify for the next round. Previously, the platform began offering free access to its special entertainment event, Vidio Penasaran 2026, on January 17. This followed Vidio's exclusive broadcast of the Carabao Cup 2025/26 semifinal first leg on January 14 and 15, after four teams secured their spots. Earlier in January, Vidio commenced exclusive live broadcasts of Proliga 2026, the country's highest-level indoor volleyball tournament, which started its first week from January 8 to 11. In December 2025, Vidio partnered with CBN Fiber to offer premium integrated entertainment streaming, including Vidio Platinum, Vidio Platinum Extra, and Vidio Ultimate packages, directly to internet home customers in Indonesia.
Vidio currently holds 16 broadcasting rights for sports competitions including badminton, motorsports, basketball, soccer | association football, combat sports, volleyball and rugby union.
