Employing approximately 840 people, it operates as a subsidiary of Emtek, itself a part of Surya Citra Media (SCM). The company's primary offering is an over-the-top (OTT) platform delivering video content to Indonesian consumers.
Vidio secured a utility patent from Indonesia's Ministry of Law and Human Rights for AI-powered ad replacement technology in live TV streaming. Vidio provides access to millions of content items, including licensed sports broadcasts such as the FIFA World Cup, Premier League, UEFA Champions League, NBA, and BRI LEAGUE 1. On April 28, 2025, Vidio extended its Premier League broadcasting rights until 2028, marking the first time an Indonesian company has secured a second term for these rights.
Vidio currently holds 16 broadcasting rights for sports competitions including motorsports, rugby union, badminton, volleyball, combat sports, basketball and soccer | association football.
