Data traffic peaked on August 13, voice calls on August 11, and SMS messaging on August 12. This follows the company's network infrastructure upgrades ahead of the Sziget Festival on August 12, where Yettel and its infrastructure partner Cetin increased overall network capacity by 20 percent and expanded high-speed 5G capacity on C-band frequencies by 40 percent to support up to 80,000 simultaneous connections. Earlier, on August 1, Yettel Hungary's network experienced a significant surge in usage during the 44th Lidl Balaton Swim, with SMS traffic increasing tenfold, call times by 260 percent, and data traffic by 30 percent compared to the prior week, serving 10,000 participants. Previously, on August 4, Yettel Hungary and Cetin Hungary reported combined revenue of EUR 666 million for the full year 2025, a slight increase from EUR 654 million a year earlier. Parent company E& PPF Telecom Group noted that EBITDA for Hungary rose from EUR 144 million to EUR 169 million during the same period, with capital expenditure increasing from EUR 39 million to EUR 48 million. Total assets stood at EUR 731 million.
