Zimbabwe Cricket, a privately owned organization founded in 1980, is the governing body for cricket in Zimbabwe. Headquartered in Zimbabwe, it employs approximately 80 people and its primary activity is the organization and management of spectator sports, specifically cricket, as of 2023.
On July 19, Zimbabwe Cricket (ZC) chairperson Tavengwa Mukuhlani was appointed chairman of the Africa Cricket Association (ACA), following a unanimous vote by all 23 member boards at the ACA's annual general meeting in Singapore. Mukuhlani had served in an acting capacity since November. On July 29, ZC received a US$50,000 sponsorship from CABS, a Zimbabwean financial institution. This funding will support the country's five provincial first-class teams.
