Zynga, in collaboration with Disqo and TL;DR Insights, released a report indicating that mobile gamers are significant retail consumers, with 45% spending $200 or more monthly on retail items and 31% spending over $500 monthly on groceries. Zynga also partnered with Universal Products & Experiences for a year-long event series in CSR2, integrating Fast & Furious content. This includes the Power of the Road racing festival and six additional in-game events offering new cars, rewards, and opportunities for player interaction. Conversely, Zynga announced the closure of Star Wars Hunters, a mobile, PC, and Nintendo Switch game, less than a year after its June 2024 release. Plans for a PC version on Steam were also canceled.
