Earlier in August, on August 3, Disney+/Hulu disclosed that 20th Century Studios’ sequel "The Devil Wears Prada 2" generated 15.2 million global views across both platforms in the five days following its July 29 streaming debut. Also on August 3, updates clarified that "Alien: Romulus 2," the planned sequel to the 2024 sci-fi horror film "Alien: Romulus," is not scrapped, addressing earlier speculation that Disney had indefinitely shelved the follow-up.
