This followed the studio taking the spotlight at CinemaCon 2026 on April 13, where Rothman showcased “Spider-Man: Brand New Day,” including two new teaser posters. Also on April 13, Sony Pictures prepared for its CinemaCon panel, which was set to highlight upcoming titles such as Zach Cregger’s "Resident Evil." Prior to that, during CinemaCon on April 13, Tom Holland described the new “Spider-Man: Brand New Day” as the most emotional and mature installment yet, with Peter Parker dealing with his friends forgetting his identity, as Sony Pictures unveiled new footage.
