On March 11, 2026, the Edmonton Stingers signed Taye Donald, a 6’2” guard returning for his third summer after spending a season as a developmental player and another on his first professional contract. Previously, on March 6, Michelle Biskup, President of the Niagara River Lions, received the 2025 St. Catharines Sportsperson of the Year award, recognizing her contributions to sport and community. Earlier, on March 3, the Canadian Elite Basketball League (CEBL) and CBC Sports announced a five-year broadcast partnership, which will feature marquee games on CBC TV, including the first best-of-three CEBL Finals, and all games live-streamed on CBC Gem and CBC Sports YouTube. Also on March 3, the Brampton Honey Badgers signed Keon Ambrose-Hylton, the 2025 CEBL All-Canadian and former Edmonton Stingers standout, who recorded 13.7 points, 8.1 rebounds, and 1.2 assists in 23 games as a full-time starter in 2025.
