Employing approximately 20 people as of 2023, the CPBL's primary activity is the organization and operation of professional baseball games for spectator entertainment. Its headquarters are located in Taiwan.
On February 11, the Chinese Professional Baseball League (CPBL) announced plans to test weekday game attendance this year, noting initial team reluctance due to anticipated low ticket sales. On May 12, CPBL president Tsai Chi-chang revealed that three new analysts would join the Chinese Taipei national baseball team in preparation for the 2026 World Baseball Classic. Finally, on July 21, the CPBL and the Ministry of Environment signed a memorandum to implement a green stadium initiative across Taiwan.
