It also broadcasts via digital terrestrial transmitters.
Prasar Bharati, India's largest public service broadcaster established by an Indian parliamentary law in 1990, encompasses the Doordarshan television network and All India Radio, both of which were previously regulated by the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting. Earlier, on April 7, Doordarshan, operating under Prasar Bharati, signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR) at Doordarshan Bhawan in New Delhi. This partnership aims to expand the global reach of Indian cultural programming through a multi-platform approach.
