Fox Sports Mexico is a privately owned subscription-based sports television and radio broadcaster headquartered in Mexico. Founded in 2021, it comprises assets formerly part of Fox Sports Media Group. These channels were divested from Fox prior to its acquisition by Disney, being sold to Grupo Multimedia Lauman. The channels continue to operate under a licensing agreement to use the Fox Sports brand.
Fox Sports Mexico (FSM), owned by Grupo Multimedia Lauman, initiated legal action on an unspecified date against Club Leon and Pachuca CF, Liga MX teams, regarding a media rights distribution dispute. FSM holds the rights to these teams' home games. Separately, on March 26, 2025, FSM announced a multi-year partnership with the Professional Fighters League (PFL), securing broadcasting rights for all PFL brands in Mexico. The agreement commenced with the PFL World Tournament on April 3, 2025. In a separate development, Fox Corp, a US media giant, acquired the rights to Major League Baseball (MLB) in North America, amidst an ongoing rights standoff with FSM.
