Separately, HPE entered into an expanded strategic partnership with Spark New Zealand on 2024, focusing on a flexible hybrid cloud services model through HPE GreenLake. In a different development, HPE announced job cuts, targeting approximately $350 million in cost savings by fiscal year 2027, citing tough competition and a slow networking business recovery. Finally, HPE Japan signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Orex SAI, a joint venture between NTT Docomo and NEC, to integrate HPE's Telco RAN Automation with Orex's service management and orchestration (SMO).
