International University Sports Federation, also known as FISU, is a non-profit organization headquartered in Switzerland. Previously, the '2025 Daegu World University Taekwondo Festival,' a G1-level event jointly approved by FISU and the World Taekwondo Federation (WTF) that awards Olympic ranking points, was scheduled to run from July 5 to 8, 2025, at Keimyung University's Seongseo campus in Daegu. Earlier on June 8, 2025, senior officials from FISU, including Secretary General Matthias Remund, met with their European counterparts at the European University Sports Association (EUSA) in Ljubljana to discuss the upcoming European Universities Games slated for Salerno in 2026.
