Mastiff A/S, also known as Mastiff Denmark, is a privately owned company headquartered in Denmark and a subsidiary of Banijay. Originally established in 1993, the company expanded through strategic merges, notably combining with the pan-Scandinavian production outfit Mastiff Media in 2003, subsequently operating as a subsidiary of Zodiak Media before its integration into Banijay Entertainment. Employing approximately 200 individuals, Mastiff reported $30.7 million in revenue as of 2024 and operates as a tier 2 media tech buyer. The company specializes in media managed services and functions as a content supplier, focusing on non-scripted programming, including reality television, high-concept entertainment formats, factual series, and live event broadcasts. Its production catalogue features localized adaptations of global properties alongside native formats, such as Vild med dans (Dancing with the Stars), Robinson Ekspeditionen (Survivor), Over Atlanten (Sailing Autumn), and Hvem vil være millionær? (Who Wants to be a Millionaire?).
Mastiff's entertainment format Drag Me Out will be produced by Endemol Shine Poland for TVN, airing in prime-time from spring. The show, based on Mastiff TV Denmark's format, will be the third adaptation of the format. Mastiff Sweden will produce Made In Sweden, a competition series following amateur craftsmen, for Banijay Group. Magnolia, owned by Banijay Group, will produce 45 daily episodes of an undisclosed program later this month, while U-TV in Russia will receive 20 daily episodes from Mastiff. Nice Entertainment Group has appointed Kristian Farcin-Leth, former programming chief at Mastiff, as the CEO of its Danish production company Strong Productions.
