MNC Group, also known as PT MNC Asia Holding Tbk and MNC Asia Holding, is a publicly owned company headquartered in Indonesia. Founded in 1989, it employs approximately 1,260 individuals and reported $959.3M in revenue as of 2024. Operating as a holding company, MNC Group was initially established as a securities company and listed on IDX in 1997. The company expanded into media in 2001 and entered entertainment hospitality in 2007, today functioning as an investment group with three strategic businesses: Media & Entertainment, Financial Services, and Entertainment Hospitality.
The Central Jakarta District Court on April 22, 2026, ordered media tycoon Hary Tanoesoedibjo and his company MNC Asia Holding to pay $28 million in damages plus interest to toll road operator Citra Marga Nusaphala Persada (CMNP) in a long-running dispute over a problematic securities exchange. Earlier, on March 31, PT MNC Tourism Indonesia Tbk (KPIG), part of MNC Asia Holding, reported its financial results for fiscal year 2025, with revenue recording a 47.7% growth and accelerating strategic project expansion. Previously, on March 25, PT MNC Kapital Indonesia Tbk (BCAP), also within the group, reported a 130.1% net income surge for FY-2025, with its consolidated revenue growing 16.2% year-on-year to Rp3.8 trillion. This followed statements on January 28 from former Chief Justice Gayus Lumbuun, who believed that CMNP's lawsuit against PT Bhakti Investama was unfair and one-sided, asserting that CMNP was not a proper party to the lawsuit.
