Earlier the same day, MultiChoice launched SuperSport Extra 2, a new live sports channel designed to enhance viewer experience during simultaneous sports events and simplify sports access for DStv subscribers. This launch is part of a broader initiative to reshape its television offerings, which includes the closure of several DStv channels.
