On April 30, the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) identified 10 host sites for the 2026 NAIA Softball National Championship Opening Rounds, with postseason play scheduled from May 11–14. Previously, on April 28, Madonna (Mich.) held the No. 1 position in the final 2026 NAIA Men's Lacrosse Coaches' Top 10 Poll, with Indiana Tech climbing three spots to tie Reinhardt (Ga.). Earlier, on April 21, Keiser (Fla.) sophomore Iver Sokhan-Sanj secured his third individual title of the 2025-26 season at the Music City Classic, contributing to top-ranked Keiser's fifth team victory of the year over third-ranked Webber International (Fla.). This followed the NAIA's announcement on April 20 of the qualifiers for the 2026 NAIA Men's Volleyball Championship, a 12-team field set to begin play on April 28 in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. On April 12, the NAIA confirmed it would welcome six new members for the 2026-27 academic year, following approval by the NAIA Council of Presidents for four of these additions during the NAIA National Convention.
