Comcast plans to spin off a majority of its NBCUniversal cable networks into a new company, Versant, according to a Thursday SEC filing. A long-standing partnership exists between NBCUniversal and WWE, encompassing shows such as Saturday Night's Main Event, RAW, and SmackDown; WWE President Mark Shapiro indicated a desire to maintain this relationship. League One Volleyball secured a deal to air games on the USA cable network, a channel of the soon-to-be-spun-off Versant.
