The United States Soccer Federation (USSF), also known as U.S. Soccer, is a privately owned non-profit organization headquartered in Chicago, Illinois. Founded in 1913, it is the official governing body for soccer in the United States and a full member of FIFA. The USSF oversees all aspects of the sport, including the men's and women's national teams, Major League Soccer, the National Women's Soccer League, youth organizations, beach soccer, futsal, Paralympic, and deaf national teams. With over 4,450 employees, the USSF plays a crucial role in promoting and developing soccer in the United States.
