On March 10, 2025, CoreWeave announced a deal to provide OpenAI with AI infrastructure, expanding OpenAI's compute capacity for training and delivering models. A two-year relationship between OpenAI and Cognitiv, an ad-tech company, expanded in a way that significantly increases API capacity, beginning in March 2023. A Cato Networks report revealed that generative AI tools, including OpenAI's ChatGPT, were tricked into developing malware. Oxford University announced a five-year partnership with OpenAI to expand AI capabilities, providing students and staff with access to AI tools and research funding.
