Also on March 26, Oregon State University President Jayathi Murthy announced that Vice President and Director of Intercollegiate Athletics Scott Barnes will retire effective August 31, having served in the position since February. Previously, on March 17, the Pac-12 Conference signed an agreement with Genius Sports, permitting the sale of its data to sportsbooks as college sports commercialize the betting industry.
