Sky Italia

Sky Italia, a privately owned media and television services company founded in 2003 and headquartered in Italy, is a subsidiary of the Sky Group. Employing approximately 4960 people, it provides a range of services including original Italian television programming, live sports broadcasts, films, documentaries, entertainment, and news. Its offerings extend to free-to-air television channels (TV8, Cielo, and Sky TG24) and encompass various platforms such as Sky Q, NOW (an over-the-top service), Sky Stream, and Sky Glass (a smart TV). Additionally, Sky Italia offers broadband internet (Sky Wifi) and, as of February 2024, mobile services (Sky Mobile) through a partnership. The company also engages in corporate social responsibility initiatives, including environmental protection and addressing digital inequality through its Sky Up project.
