M7 and Antenna expand CEE satellite distribution partnership

Luxembourg-based M7 Group has signed a multi-year agreement with Antenna Entertainment to launch Czech-specific versions of AXN Black and AXN White via the ASTRA 23.5° East satellite and the M7-owned Skylink TV platform. This new agreement strengthens the existing partnership between M7 and Antenna Entertainment, which already includes the satellite distribution of AXN Czechia and Hungarian channels such as AXN Hungary, VIASAT2, and VIASAT Film via the M7 satellite platform at 1° West.

Pay-TV operator M7 Group, part of Canal Plus, has announced that Yassine Bouzoubaa will soon replace Hans Troelstra as CEO. He will take up his new position on 01 January 2025, reporting into Jacques du Puy, president of Canal+ International. Bouzoubaa's career within the Canal Plus group started in 2009, when he joined as operations director for the Maghreb region. Most recently, he has been working as sales, marketing and performance management director at Canal+ International.
