This followed the league's announcement on November 17, 2025, of a multi-year licensing partnership with Pro Basketball Manager 2026, which will integrate the men's league's clubs, players, and coaches into the global basketball management simulation for the first time. Earlier, on June 24, 2025, SLB initiated legal action against the British Basketball Federation (BBF) amid a long-running governance dispute.
