Swrve, a privately owned company headquartered in the United States, was founded in 2011 and operates with approximately 50 employees. It provides marketer and agency technology, functioning as a subscriber engagement platform.
On November 11, 2015, Swrve closed a $30 million funding and acquisition round, creating 45 high-tech jobs in Dublin and San Francisco. A later announcement on an unspecified Wednesday revealed that Swrve has a new owner and will relaunch in 2026, more than a year after the company announced its closure. The new owner and sale terms remain undisclosed. Steve Collins, previously CTO at King and Swrve, was appointed CTO at Unity. A separate report projects the global Web Push Notification Software market to grow at a 14.83% CAGR from 2024 to 2031, reaching approximately $17.84 billion by 2031.
