Teletica Televisora de Costa Rica, also known as Teletica, is a privately owned company headquartered in Costa Rica. Founded in 1958, the company employs approximately 330 individuals and operates as a tier 1 media tech buyer. Its main product is broadcast television and radio. Functioning as a Costa Rican television broadcaster, it began transmissions in 1960 as the country's first television station. The company operates as a subsidiary of the media group, Televisora de Costa Rica S.A., and manages multiple television channels. These include its flagship station, Teletica Canal 7, which provides a generalist programming schedule featuring news, sports, and imported programs from major international broadcasters. Other channels in its portfolio are XperTV Canal 33, which focuses on lifestyle programming and smaller sporting events, and TD+, a dedicated sports channel.
