Türksat, officially Türksat Satellite Communications Cable TV and Operations Incorporated, is a state-owned Turkish company founded in 1990. Initially established as Türksat Milli Haberleşme Uyduları, it later incorporated Türk Telekomünikasyon A.Ş.'s satellite services in 2004. Headquartered in Turkey, Türksat employs approximately 1040 people and primarily provides pay TV services. In 2020, the company reported revenues of around $50 million. Türksat also holds full ownership of Eurasiasat S.A.M., a joint venture formed in 1996 with Aérospatiale to produce and launch satellites, including Türksat 2A (Eurasiasat 1) in 2001. It is the sole satellite operator in Turkey.
