Founded in 2009 and employing approximately 50 individuals, the company specializes in media and TV services, functioning as a tier 1 media tech buyer. Zeam Media powers OTT solutions through an end-to-end platform utilized by broadcasters for functionalities including live stream transcoding, cloud-based rights resolution, cloud-based DVR, device filtering, geo-location services, content management, stream monitoring, video clipping, and dynamic ad insertion. Its technology reaches 98 percent of the U.S. population across 195 markets, serving 54 station groups and all major networks. Syncbak rebranded as Zeam Media in May 2024.
Zeam Media announced a multi-day live-streamed comedy special, Destination Comedy, starring Mike Young and Bret Ernst. The special will feature a road trip through Michigan, incorporating landmarks and local establishments. In May, Jack Perry (Zeam Media), Laura Florence (Fremantle), and Christina Chung (Estrella MediaCo) discussed synergies between CTV and social media, focusing on leveraging social media to increase CTV engagement. The company also announced collaborations with John Stamos for a Super Bowl advertisement, to air on Fox stations in major markets. This collaboration was announced twice, once in a news story specifying the advertisement would air next month.
