Fox Networks Group (FNG), a privately owned entity founded in 1993 and headquartered in the US, is a major operating unit of Disney Linear Networks. Employing approximately 800 people, FNG's primary business is entertainment provision. Its operations encompass several subsidiaries, including FOX Turkey, and are structured into divisions such as Fox Television Group (including Fox Broadcasting Company and 20th Century Fox Television), FOX Sports Media Group, Fox Cable Networks (including FX Networks and National Geographic Partners), and Fox Networks Group Europe, Asia, and Latin America. These divisions collectively develop, produce, and distribute television programming across various genres, including entertainment, sports, and nonfiction.
A New York federal court ruled on September 18, 2025, that a Mexican sports broadcasting distributor presented sufficient evidence to warrant the retention of materials that may help overturn sanctions for unauthorized trademark use. This decision countered efforts by Fox Corp. to suppress this evidence. Separately, reports indicate that Meta Platforms held discussions in recent months with several news organizations, including Fox Corp., regarding content licensing agreements for use in their artificial intelligence tools. These discussions involved licensing news articles for integration into AI products.
