Earlier on the same day, LG denied claims that its smart TVs listen to their surroundings and log data even when offline, referencing a prior investigation from the YouTube channel Gamers Nexus and security researchers that examined LG smart TVs. Previously, on September 11, the ongoing RAM crisis continued to impact LG's consumer OLED TV production, a market it has been engaged in since 2013.
