RTBF (Radio-Télévision belge de la Communauté française), a state-owned public broadcaster, was founded in Belgium in 1953. It serves the French-speaking community of Belgium and operates a range of television and radio channels. As of 2020, RTBF employed approximately 2,410 people and generated less than $250 million in revenue.
RTBF finalized a highlights deal with DAZN for the Belgian Pro League, alongside the Flemish-language public broadcaster VRT. On September 15, 2025, RTBF and DAZN announced a five-season agreement to broadcast Jupiler Pro League matches, extending until 2030. This deal covers ancillary rights for Belgian football. Separately, RTBF collaborated with EVS on the Flexible Control Room project, a joint initiative to modernize control room operations, expanding its scope across TV, radio, and digital platforms. This partnership, beginning in 2022, continues to develop the Flexible Control Room solution.
