Saudi Telecom Company (STC), also known as STC Group, is a publicly owned Saudi Arabian telecommunications company headquartered in Saudi Arabia. Founded in 1998, STC provides a range of services, including pay TV, landline, mobile, internet, enterprise digital solutions, entertainment, fintech, and computer networks. The company initially held monopolies in fixed and mobile telephone services in Saudi Arabia but lost these monopolies in 2007 due to market liberalization. In response, STC diversified its offerings and expanded into other digital services, such as the Jawwy TV service. As of 2020, STC had over 21,500 employees and generated less than $10 million in revenue.
