On April 20, 2026, Arabian Internet and Communications Services Co. (solutions), in which Saudi Telecom Company (stc) holds a 79% stake, signed a SAR 132.4 million contract with stc. The three-year agreement involves the supply, design, and installation of hardware systems and technical solutions to design, equip, and upgrade digital infrastructure for a data center network supporting cloud services, with financial impact expected to begin in the fourth quarter of 2026. Previously, on April 17, stc Group announced a partnership with ROSHN Group, a real estate developer, to establish a neutral fiber optic network infrastructure for the upcoming phases of the SEDRA community in Riyadh. Under this agreement, stc Group will be responsible for the planning and implementation of the fiber optic network infrastructure.
