On June 3, 2026, nominations opened for the 2027 Best Of Wine Tourism Awards, offering South Australia's wine tourism operators and producers a chance to vie for global recognition within the Great Wine Capital Global Network’s (GWCGN) 11 member regions. Previously, on May 15, Adelaide concluded its hosting of the 46th Australian Tourism Exchange (ATE26), where it welcomed over 700 buyers from more than 30 countries, making a significant impression on the global tourism industry. This event followed the gathering of more than 2,700 delegates, including 730 travel buyers from 32 countries, in Adelaide for ATE26, the nation’s largest tourism tradeshow, which commenced on May 12.
