The United States Golf Association (USGA) announced that five-time major champion Yani Tseng accepted a special exemption into the 81st U.S. Women’s Open Presented by Ally, scheduled for June 4-7 at The Riviera Country Club in Los Angeles, Calif. Previously, on April 13, the USGA selected The Riviera Country Club in Pacific Palisades, Calif., to host the 131st U.S. Open Championship from June 12-15, 2031, marking its return to the Los Angeles market for the U.S. Open after 75 years. Also on April 13, the association named The Lakewood Club in Point Clear, Ala., and Ekwanok Country Club in Manchester, Vt., as the host sites for the 2029 and 2030 U.S. Senior Women’s Amateur Championships, respectively. Earlier, on March 10, The Boston Beer Co's Sun Cruiser vodka iced-tea brand formed a multi-year partnership to become the ‘Official Ready-to-Drink Cocktail’ of the US Open and US Women’s Open, starting with the Women's Open in California in early June.
