Nielsen filed a new patent infringement lawsuit against VideoAmp in Delaware federal court on Wednesday, April 26, 2023, just two days after the same court dismissed an earlier lawsuit involving different patents. This follows an earlier dismissal of a patent infringement lawsuit against VideoAmp by Nielsen. A separate antitrust counterclaim against Nielsen by TVision, alleging that Nielsen uses unfounded patent litigation to harm competitors, is ongoing, pending Nielsen's appeal of a Patent Trial and Appeal Board (PTAB) ruling. A fifth lawsuit, involving TVision, which supports VideoAmp and iSpot.tv, also saw a PTAB ruling in TVision's favor, with Nielsen's appeal pending. VideoAmp also announced its Vampfront 2025 event.
