Separately, Meta highlighted the career paths of several employees, including Anita Z., a software engineer manager described as hands-on; Gedaliah F., a director of engineering who transitioned from a senior engineering leadership role on Wall Street; and Rafael C., a VP of augmented reality (AR) systems, whose career path involved an engineering degree and international work experience. Meta also showcased a vision for augmented reality glasses that would overlay information onto the user's real-world view, providing features such as recipe recommendations and appointment reminders.
