The strategy and investment plan were disclosed in Canal+'s latest financial results, released on March 10, 2026, which included its unaudited preliminary results for the full year ended December 31, 2025, and an update on its strategy following the completion of the MultiChoice acquisition. Earlier on March 10, Canal+, as the new owner of MultiChoice Group, announced plans to hire more than 1,000 salespersons across Africa to expand its subscriber base, less than a week after discontinuing its streaming platform Showmax.
