News Summary:

MultiChoice Group announced the unconditional implementation of the reorganization of its South African operations will commence. On an unrelated note, MultiChoice Uganda Limited and GOTV Uganda Limited applied to transfer their licenses to Groupe Canal+. This follows Groupe Canal+'s acquisition of MultiChoice Group in July 2025. Separately, MultiChoice is resisting Ghana's demand for a 30% DStv fee reduction, a demand initially made in August 2025. Finally, MultiChoice Group received notification that Pentwater Capital Management began acquiring shares in the broadcaster, while the acquisition by Canal Plus remains ongoing. Amended annexures A to S relating to a previous ruling were also submitted.
