News Summary:

Nova experienced a technical incident on September 15, 2026, when an explosion occurred at its production site on Guramishvili Avenue in Tbilisi. The Emergency Management Service reported no injuries or subsequent fire, and Nova described the event as damage to a CO₂ reservoir in its yard that impacted part of the building’s facade. Earlier on September 2, the telecommunications provider stated it processes over 200,000 document signings monthly with Namirial’s eSignAnyWhere platform, which has led to 62% of customers completing contracts on the same day, a significant reduction from the previous average of 6.5 days. Previously on the same day, figures released by its parent company United Group showed Nova recorded strong growth in the first half of 2026. The company delivered the strongest performance among United Group’s four main telecommunications markets, demonstrating significant growth in revenue and operating profitability while continuing to invest in mobile and fiber networks. This followed an August 30 announcement that Nova joined FasterCapital’s EquityPilot program to refine and accelerate a crypto-native neobank experience.
