Wonder Group acquired Tastemade, a media company producing cooking videos since 2012, for $90 million earlier this month. This acquisition, part of Wonder's plan to become a comprehensive advertising platform, adds new capabilities to the company. The acquisition follows Wonder's purchases of Blue Apron in 2023 and Grubhub in 2024. Wonder's Chief Growth Officer, Daniel Shlossman, noted that Tastemade brings valuable assets to the company. The acquisition is part of a larger trend of mergers and acquisitions in the commerce and retail media sectors observed in early 2025.
