Fubo recently announced that its multiview feature will soon be available on select LG TVs, allowing subscribers to stream up to four live, customizable channels simultaneously. Previously, on April 17, the streaming service reportedly made an 11th-hour pitch to secure the streaming rights for 13 NBA teams that had recently exited Main Street Sports Group, also known as FanDuel Sports Network. According to Sports Business Journal, this development introduced Fubo, described as a Disney-owned streaming service, into a complex NBA media situation. This follows earlier reports from April 15 that Fubo had "out of nowhere" entered the arena to pursue local rights for these 13 NBA teams, positioning itself as a virtual pay TV provider competing with services like YouTube TV and Sling.
Fubo TV currently holds 38 broadcasting rights for sports competitions including ice hockey, american football, darts, combat sports, beach soccer, basketball, motorsports, soccer | association football, baseball and cycling.
