Previously, on March 6, STC Group began phase two of its 'New Calling' initiative, piloting instant Arabic-English translation during voice calls for selected customers in Riyadh, utilizing Large Language Models to adapt to call context. This initiative builds on a development announced in 2024. Earlier, on February 24, stc Group extended its partnership with PLDT Global for two years, solidifying its position as the primary gateway for PLDT’s international long-distance communication traffic. This followed the company's February 22 announcement of consolidated financial results for the fiscal year ended December 31, 2025, reaching record-high revenues of SAR 77.8 billion, a 2.5% increase year-over-year, with net profit rising 12.5% after excluding non-recurring items.
