Arup, Nordic Office of Architecture, and Rodeo Arkitekter won a design competition for Norsk rikskringkasting’s (NRK) new headquarters in Oslo. The project will encompass 60,000 square meters of gross floor area and 50,000 square meters of utility floor area, including studios, publishing desks, post-production facilities, concert studios, workshops, and warehouses. Separately, NRK reported a rise in antibiotic use in Norway, increasing by 19 percent since 2021. The state health authority, Helsedirektoratet, is now requesting doctors prescribe shorter antibiotic treatments to mitigate antibiotic resistance.
